Anxiety and stress seem to be at an all time high for so many of us. We are busy going from place to place, completing one task after another, or experiencing a trial, that we so easily get overwhelmed, worried, and anxious about this life. Jesus personally invites us to come to Him and explains where we can truly find rest.
Scripture Reading At The End:
Psalm 46:10 ESV / “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 37:7 ESV / Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices! Exodus 14:14 ESV / The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.” Mark 4:39 ESV / And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Psalm 62:5 ESV / For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. Philippians 4:6 ESV / Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Isaiah 41:10-13 ESV / Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Behold, all who are incensed against you shall be put to shame and confounded; those who strive against you shall be as nothing and shall perish. You shall seek those who contend with you, but you shall not find them; those who war against you shall be as nothing at all. For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” Isaiah 32:17 ESV / And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. Lamentations 3:24-26 ESV / “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. Romans 12:12 ESV / Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Psalm 62:5-6 ESV / For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. Isaiah 26:3 ESV / You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Isaiah 40:31 ESV / But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Psalm 100:3 ESV / Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 1 Corinthians 15:55-58 ESV / O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain. Revelation 21:4-5 ESV / He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
