Paul’s gospel is intentionally organized to show that Jesus is God and that we can have life in him. In this gospel, we learn through the feeding of the 5,000 and Jesus’s appearance to his disciples after his resurrection, that Jesus invites us to be a part of a Heavenly Potluck. He is the bread and will always provide for us. He also guides us to join with him in providing for those around us. He has given to us in abundance, so go and “feed his sheep” with the abundance he has given!
