After a very crazy day yesterday and lots of after-hours work, Dr. Buske’s team mates earned his respect significantly. Now, he can have appreciation and gratitude for his team easily, but respect is earned. The definition of respect is as follows: a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements. Dr. Buske respected how hard his team worked and how they took care of the patients. You can’t expect people to respect you right off the bat, you have to earn it.
