Dr. Tamara Beckford is not only a board certified emergency physician, she is a visionary and positive force for change in the highly politicized field of healthcare. Covid-19 has reinvigorated the importance of the conversation around how many people have, and still need affordable healthcare. Dr. Beckford has created and successfully launched UR CARING DOCSwhich is a platform that allows people to see a doctor quickly via telemedicine. Equally important is the educational piece that she's providing whbile teaching the difference between urgent and emergent medical scenarios.
