This week we look at three films that are adaptations of the works of William Shakespeare: Akira Kurosawa's Throne of Blood (Macbeth), Baz Luhrman's Romeo + Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio, and Richard Eyre's King Lear with Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson, & Florence Pugh. This does contain spoilers for several Shakespeare plays and all the films discussed. We promise it's not as pretentious as it sounds.
