In this episode, Channa Channa Channa talks to Kenny Hughes, the travelling blues musician from South Africa. Channa discovered Kenny through a friend. Channa loved Kenny’s music as it felt so true to the roots of blues.
Kenny grew up in a musical home where music of Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, CCR was played a lot. He discovered blues later and considers Jimi Hendrix, Philip Sayce, Dan Patlansky and Albert Frost as his blues influences.
Kenny gets his inspiration and passion for Blues from the open road and recently released his latest single '19:20'. He currently on tour in South Africa.
