emiko who’s born to Japanese and Jewish parents introduced to music very early on and always been a performer her entire life. She has written over 3000 songs including #1 pop, R&B, Rock, Theater and Jpop.
emiko talks about her childhood, her introduction to music, her parents, travelling to Japan every summer when she was young, moving to NYC as a teenager to pursue her dreams, going through rough relationships, writing her famous albums, featured on a Cyndi Lauper video. She also talks about “I Believe You” Project which she started based on her song to support victims of abuse.
