Following the world´s bleakest hour, a fog lifted and a dream emerged from the thick mist; a vision of the greatest heavy metal band post covid. Johann Saul (vocals and guitar) enlisted the help of longtime friend Salaryman Ben (drums), both ex-members of Weathered Hands and Real Authority, by manifesting in his nightmares Freddy Kruger style. Reluctant yet convinced, Ben agreed to sit behind the kit for fear of his own demise. The first offering from your new favourite heavy metal militia, ´DO YOU WANT TO DANCE (WITH A WANTED MAN)?´, is written as a serial killer´s response to hybristophilia - an attraction to those who commit crime and murder. The band´s 5-track self-titled debut EP, out 30th June, should be considered a manifesto, taking its form in pummelling guitar riffs, powerful mid-tempo grooves and maniacal lyricism that paints devilishly macabre, yet tongue-in-cheek imagery. Uncompromising in the pursuit of melody and technical ability - frenetic guitar solos and catchy vocal hooks can be found on every track.
