Kasie Smith is the President of Serendipity Media, LLC, and is best known locally as the publisher of West Michigan Woman & Revue magazines. Kasie founded Serendipity Media, a women-owned business, in 2002. Today, the company publishes six magazines and provides integrated marketing services for clients across the country who operate in the travel association and education industries.
Kasie volunteers with local organizations such as Inforum, Komen Michigan, Michigan Women’s Forward, and many more. Her awards include being named an “ATHENA Young Professional Finalist,” Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce “Epic Award Finalist,” and a “Top Women in Media” by Folio magazine. In 2016, Kasie was honored by Komen Michigan with the “Powerfully Pink Award” for her commitment to making an impact on the lives of others and fighting to end breast cancer forever. In 2019, Serendipity Media was named a Top Woman Owned Business by the Grand Rapids Business Journal. In 2022, Kasie was awarded the Youth First Award by the SYTA Youth Foundation.
Kasie lives in Grand Rapids with her husband and twin sons.
