Sleep. Most of us have heard over and over again how important it is to our health and that of our kids. The first question asked of a new mom is usually "Getting any sleep?" or some version of that. The idea that our baby is "good" or "bad" or "easy" or "hard" based on how many hours of sleep they get through the night is ridiculous. As any mom knows, we have very little control over this. Some babies are easy to fall asleep, some babies are difficult to get to sleep, some babies sleep for long periods of time and some are easy to get to sleep but wake up over and over again. Some will transfer well, while others need to literally pass the dead limb test before you move them. But sleep IS the first thing that tends to slide and is the FIRST thing I want you to commit to getting back on track in 2022.
