In today's episode we read and analyze stories by acclaimed writer Krishna Baldev Vaid. He is known as the foremost writer of Modernist movement in Hindi literature. His work is simultaneously existential, experimental and absurd in nature. He completed his doctorate from Harvard University and taught at multiple universities in the US and India. (Mr Vaid also happens to be the grandfather of notable performance artist @alokvmenon).
We read and discuss three of his pieces - 'Langdi Kursi' 'Morche' and 'Bujhav'.
Anurag Minus Verma (@anuragminusverma) is an Editing graduate from FTII and Arts and Aesthetics grad from JNU. He has collaborated with multiple filmmakers, notably, the experimental icon Amit Dutta. Anurag makes fun and absurd humor-laced travelogues and dabbles in observational humour. His two books are available on Amazon - 'Love In The Time of Pokemon' and 'I Love You But Only On Weekends'.
