Description

Dr. David H. Chafey, MD is Associate Professor, Musculoskeletal Oncology, and Orthopedic Trauma, at University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He is also the Fellowship Director for Trauma and Oncologic Reconstruction there. Dr. Chafey got his medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. He completed his orthopedic residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Sonoran Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons in Scottsdale, Arizona. He then got a second fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
