The poetry corner was created during the 2020 pandemic to bring liveliness amongst poets that were not traveling to open events.
Having a viral platform for artist of spoken word to express their thoughts, feelings and emotions started as a great vibe.
Now forming a life of its own we crafted a signature upon the King
For guests to recite their poetry and tell the audience what they have going on in social or personal life.
We keep striving to communicate and have fun doing the poetry corner and expand to become greater. Our mission is to provide a safe space for poets of all variety to grow by cultivating burgeoning talent, collaborating with talent throughout the poetry community and engaging a global audience of poetry lovers.
King Atterberry Bio
My name is joel washington atterbury I am a fifty year old published author and poet.
I manifested sixteen books of poetry during a time span of four and a half years .
I am the host of the poetry corner show on the let’s talk platform and also I host a poetry radio blog talk show on the epiphany Forreal the poet network.
Creatively I do what is expected without correction aligning myself with the source of creation to bless the mic!
Valerie Lorraine is a free verse poet, speaking on all matters of the heart, turmoil, fears, giving up, letting go and starting again. Valerie also works on lyrics in collaboration with musicians. She enjoys cooking, nature photography and pencil drawing. The artist in her thrives in these pastimes.
Her first book ‘Falling’ is available on Amazon in paperback and kindle. Watch for ‘My Life…. Untitled’ due out in summer of 2022
As an intensely private person, Valerie has been overwhelmed by the responses to her works. The connections others feel to her words strike depths of emotions we do not always have ways to verbalize, yet here they are for you.
