In this episode, I dig into the Content of the Nutrition Insight Project. Do you have disordered eating? It is not my role (especially from a podcast format) to tell you if you do or do not, however, I share some things to think about.
I start this episode with an update on a fraught business meeting, my coping (or struggling to cope) with disappointments, and re-focusing on the goals of the Nutrition Insight Project.
I get a little into the scientific literature around nutrition students and dietitians with disordered eating. Acquiring knowledge, building self-awareness, and developing insight is only ONE part of the change process (Pillar One). Each of us needs to decide if and when we might be ready to change. If you feel nutrition change is required to support your physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health - please know that you are worthy and deserving of support (if you can access it). I end with some good news about the Nutrition Insight Project as we move into springtime in the Pacific Northwest. Stay tuned for more from the Nutrition Insight Project.
If you resonate with this or this episode led to some "ah-ha" moments for you, I'd love to hear about it!
