I was born in Berkshire and lived on the River Thames for the first 24 years of my life. My father was a Lockkeeper, and growing up in a haunted Lock House prompted me to write ‘The Lock House Haunting which I finally published in 2016.’
I have had a passionate interest in the Paranormal for as long as I can remember and even in my teenage years would travel alone to locations in the hope of spotting their elusive but well recorded apparitions.
However, it was not until 2007 after the birth of my second child and moving to the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire that I began to seriously pursue my love and fascination with the Paranormal.
Dismayed by some of the local Paranormal teams, I set up ROPE (Researchers of Paranormal Events) in 2010 and myself and my team have quietly gone about investigating allegations of hauntings in various locations ever since.
My main areas of interest are Spirit Communication and two such experiences have appeared in Dr Cal Cooper’s book ‘Telephone Calls from the Dead’ and more recently John Frazer’s book ‘Poltergeist.’
This area of interest has led to an ongoing experiment using a combination of Zenner Cards with a Ouija Board, which have, over the last 5 years, proved some intriguing results.
I also have a strong interest in the history and belief surrounding Demonology, possession, and exorcism in both Christianity and other wide-reaching religions.
With the paranormal experiences that I have witnessed during my life, I would consider myself to be an open-minded sceptic. I am a fervent reader of any paranormal material and listen intently to the experiences of others.
Over the years, I have discovered that when it comes to the Paranormal, every day is a school day, and I have continued and will continue to learn with each and every experience and testimony.
