She speaks in depth about her medical trials and business ventures while reciting how she fell to homelessness but gathered herself and rose again. She is a survivor of childhood sexual trauma who has, as an adult, helped abused and neglected individuals. She says, ‘I am sure those male relatives would not have sexually assaulted me if they had known the agony they caused me. I felt less than. I knew I wanted to be a part of your show because feeling like you’re the only one and that you are alone in abuse can be devastating.
