Will and Jaren talk about their month-long absence from the podcast and their reasoning for that. They talk about how much they appreciate the fans who stuck with them amidst some personal issues derailing their ability to podcast the last month. They then get into the Mavs' first preseason game in Abu Dhabi versus the Minnesota Timberwolves where they lost 99-111. They talk about who stood out and separate the segments of the game into two distinct halves as the Mavericks starters didn't play after the first half barring Olivier-Maxence Prosper. There's a ton to get into in regard to the preseason game, but will and Jaren stress that Mavs fans can only validate so much of what we are seeing on the court since it's literally only preseason. Will and Jaren finally ended the podcast by wrapping it up with some things that were media-day and news-related regarding the Mavericks and the general NBA that they missed during their month-long sabbatical.
