Not everyone’s giving in church is accepted by God. That’s why God accepted the sacrifice of Abel but rejected that of Cain. Giving is a spiritual activity, and the spiritual realm is strictly governed by laws. Those who fail to obey the laws of giving may eventually discover that their offering was viewed by God in the same way as Cain’s—unacceptable. This raises an important question: what are the laws of giving? And what must we do before, during, and after giving to God to ensure our offering is pleasing to Him?
