When a man begins to trust in what is false, he disconnects from the mercy of God that sustains destiny. The snare of lying vanities is subtle; it comes as deceitful opportunities, prideful ambitions, or distractions that pull us away from divine purpose. God calls us to forsake deceit, to reject appearances that contradict His word, and to anchor our hope on His unchanging promises.
