Psalm 119:97-104
As we approach a New Year, it is imperative that we make the decision to spend time in the Word of God. That decision should be followed by a plan to do so. We are desperately in need of the Word of God each day. The Word alone has the power to change us, to shape us into the image of God more and more each day - you need the Word. Psalm 119 is a beautiful explanation of all of the rich benefits of the Word of God for our lives every day! The Word of God can and will help you to endure in this coming year. May God give us grace to faithful engage his Word this year!
The Psalms offer an incredible look at our great God: his faithfulness, his covenant love, his wisdom and power! They also present to us the responses of humanity to God: thanksgiving, praise, worship, trust, obedience and even sorrow due to our circumstances.
