Jesus was proclaimed as King on Palm Sunday but their expectations were wrong and what seemed like universal acclaim actually wasn't. We all have expectations and in some cases we set conditions on what He must do to be king. He is King of kings and Lord of lords whether we accept that truth or not. If He doesn't do the thing you want or need will you still believe and enthrone Him? We honestly like being our own ruler, we think we know best. The problem is our horizons are too short and our measurement tools faulty. Will you bow the knee to Him as King and allow Him to direct your life?
