Are you 100% sure of what you believe? The man who brought his son for the disciples responded appropriately to Jesus' question, I believe, heal my unbelief. All of us have unbelief that needs to be healed. David stepped into the battle against Goliath when no other soldier in the Israeli army would do so because he knew the battle was the Lord's, the battle was about the honor of God. He didn't need armor, swords, helmet, nothing more than a sling. He knew that because he had a history in God of fighting battles with that weapon and the Lord. Paul knew that his weakness only served to show God's strength and power. When the disciples feared the wind and waves they woke Jesus because they believed He could do something. What they got was a demonstration of God's power and the revelation of their own unbelief. "Who is this..." Now they saw that the man who they called teacher was something more fearsome than their fear of the wind and waves. Sometimes it is necessary for God to show us He is bigger than our fears so that we will have more faith.
