Akilah Logan as an independent filmmaker. She completed her first feature film, "The Blue Labyrinth,” where she wrote, directed and starred in. She is also a published author with 3 monologue books for actors. Akilah has been in the arts literally all of her life whether singing, dancing or writing. She is a makeup artist by trade and her goal is to tell stories about Black people that steer clear of stereotypes. She believes that Blacks have vast stories and they should be the ones in the forefront telling them.
