We all have stressful situations in our personal lives, and the world is filled with stressful situations outside of our personal lives - how can reading literature help us with that?

Janel and Linda talk more in this episode about easing your stress through reading literature. One key to managing the stress response is to have the ability to step back, look at something from the outside, and say, "Well isn't that interesting to observe." Practicing it with a book helps us to practice it in real-life stressful situations.
