Sometimes you may have to stand alone, but just know, with God, you are never really alone. He is there with you through it all and is a very present help in times of trouble. There are times when He is silent because during test periods the Teacher is always silent, but even then, you can still feel His presence. Being in the presence of God is so relaxing, so calming, and so peaceful. He invites you to join Him and delights when you do. Sometimes He just wants to get you alone so He can reveal some things to you. Oftentimes you find yourself so wrapped up in things that really add no value to anything and before you know it, valuable time has been wasted. God wants and has better for you and wants to steer you in the right direction. He cannot do that when you are so caught up in the things of this world. Get alone with Him and be refreshed, revived, and renewed. Your alone time can save you a lot of heartache and headache, and even keep you from harm. You do not always have to follow the crowd; rather, stand out from the crowd and be led of God. So on today, cherish the quiet, alone time you spend with God and soak up all He has for you because not only will it bless you, but you in turn can be a blessing to others.
