God knows how to take care of His children; He knows exactly what you need, when you need it. Don’t ever doubt His love for you because then you’d only be giving into the enemy’s schemes. Sometimes God is silent, but that doesn’t mean He’s abandoned you. Sometimes God chastises, but that doesn’t mean He doesn’t love you; quite the contrary for the Word tells you, “whom the LORD loves He chastens.” Count it an honor and privilege because you know God cares about you. He won’t let you stray too far without pulling you back in; however, it’s up to you whether you take heed to Him and return or continue on a destructive path. God loves you enough to give you that choice and pray that you choose well. He will give you what you need at the precise moment you need it so that you may carry on; that’s love. So on today, don’t degrade and diminish God’s love for you because of something the enemy whispers in your ear; instead, trust God and all the more cling to Him and you’ll be blessed beyond measure.
