The Bible instructs you to not answer a fool according to his folly. Basically, do not waste your time arguing with an imprudent, unwise, silly person. Choose your battles wisely and move on. Time is too precious to argue with someone who just wants to argue. Leave them in God’s hands and move on. Some people thrive on upsetting or disturbing another’s peace. They want to prove they are always right, even when they are not. You do not have to stand and debate or argue over anything; leave it and agree to disagree. Some do not even want to do that, however, and in that case, just leave them be. Do not waste your time and energy on small, insignificant, petty matters, and the ones that are of some significance, leave them to God and let Him sort them out. So on today, keep your peace; arguing with a foolish person brings no glory to God; therefore, honor Him by knowing when to just walk away, give it to Him, and keep silent.
