Listen, with everything that is going on today, you have to be careful with what and in whom you are hoping for. Many put their trust, their hope in the wrong things and people, and when they are disappointed and let down, they want to give up. Hope placed in the wrong place or in the wrong person can drain you of life. You have to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that your hope is in the right place. Hope in God. Yes, put your hope in Jesus and you will never be let down or disappointed in Him. When you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart. Build yourself up on this hope knowing that God will do what He said He would do. Show others how good God is because of the hope you have in Him. Many today are looking to man, and man will always in some way or another, let you down, but God will lift you up and hasten to do what He promised. So on today, those things you’re hoping for will come to pass in due time; meanwhile love the Lord and delight yourself in Him whilst preparing for that which is to come.
