Well, praise the Lord! This is your Morning Inspiration with Apostle Dez.
It’s not enough to just feel regret or remorseful about something, you must actually make a change. In other words, repent! It’s not a bad thing and is actually very liberating. God calls for you to examine your ways and then make the necessary corrections. What is it you must repent for? The list may be numerous and varied but inevitably for most, it is something akin to idolatry. Yes, in this day and time it is very easy to fall prey to this; and no, one may not actually have a golden calf idol set up but how about that television? How about your job, or even your children? Yes, it is easy to fall prey to idolatry when you put anything, or anyone, before God. Even such a thing as sleep can be a vice because some would rather sleep than worship or sleep than pray. It happens subtly and if not corrected immediately, it becomes a way of life. Serving and worshipping God is not a hard thing to do but one must truly be mindful of what you do; it takes commitment. You may have fallen short; it’s OK, we all have. Scripture tells us all have sinned, and come short of God’s glory, but thank God for Jesus, you have an advocate with the Father. So on today, take the out, use the gift Jesus gave, repent, and serve the LORD with all your being.
