They say, “Tis the season to be jolly,” and while jolly means to be full of high spirits, joyous, and cheerful, though a particular season and a specific day are appointed, the truth of the matter is, you can be this way year-round. Jesus came to give you life and that more abundantly. When He went away, He sent the Holy Spirit to abide with you. You do not have to be full of high spirits when you have the Spirit, and He causes you to have joy by which you can be cheerful. It is a spirit indeed during this time that causes many to become depressed and despondent. What they need is a little more Jesus. You can be jolly and spread Christmas cheer with the word of God. This is something that will stick with people year-round and will not send them into despair. Truly Jesus is the reason for every season, and you can enjoy Christmas everyday when you have the Holy Spirit abiding within you. So on today, be merry, be jolly, but more so, be thankful and joyful that Jesus came and because of that, you can live life to the fullest being jolly and blessed.
