Yes, the blessings of the Lord maketh rich and addeth no sorrow, but you must be in a place to receive those riches, and those riches are not all monetary. Many hold their hand out to God wanting money, but what God offers and provides is, or can be so much more. Understand this also, God is not going to abundantly bless just anything and everybody; He can, but He won’t. Why? It is simple, because everyone seeking a blessing is not right with God. It is sort of like a stranger approaching your parents asking for a handout. Your parents, out of the goodness of their heart may be inclined to indulge that person, but they are in no way obligated to do so. So it is with God and those who call Him Father. God loves us all, this much is true, but it is the children who receive the abundant blessings. He shows His goodness and mercy to all everyday just by waking us up; those who do not wake up, God still in many ways shows His goodness and mercy. Know this, the blessings come from your relationship and obedience to God. So on today, there is no limit to His blessings and no partiality because He blesses all, but again the degree to what you receive is in how you value your relationship with God; think on that, then purpose in your heart to walk accordingly.
