Dear friend, choose your battles wisely. You don’t have to expend your time and energy on everything that comes your way. God will fight your battles for you, but you have to choose and engage wisely. Some things the enemy send your way to distract you and throw you off your game, but when you keep your mind stayed on Jesus and your focus on Him, not only will He keep you in perfect peace, but He won’t let you go astray. He will give you what you need to handle the fight at hand; yes, He equips you for battle but then He let’s you know you don’t have to fight; He will. All He wants is for you to be battle-ready because it’s not really your fight. To be battle-ready means being dressed in the armor He provides and in a mind frame ready to engage; He will do the rest. Your part is to resist, pray, and trust God to sustain you. You may walk away with a few bruises and scars, but those are only to remind you of the struggle and how God brought you out. So on today, remember, He never said it would be easy, but He promised He’d never leave nor forsake you, and because of that, all of your battles are already won.
