Bless the Lord, oh my soul. When you wake up in the morning you just have to give God thanks and praise. He did not have to do it, but He did. This is another day, another opportunity to be about His business, doing that which He has commissioned you to do. Do not sit back idly and do nothing; do not procrastinate and let the moment pass. Make a deal with, or force yourself to do, but just do not do nothing. Time is short, and time is of the essence. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers few. God is calling for a few good men and women to stand up and step out. Do not put it off for tomorrow because tomorrow may never come. While it is on your mind and in your heart to do, act. God will not give you anything you cannot do, and what may seem out of your reach or beyond your capabilities, when you stretch out to do you will find you have it in you. Seize the moment and capitalize on the time allotted. So on today, you sing, “Do not pass me by,” and all the while it is within you to grab hold, act, and reap the blessings.
