Praise Him, praise Him. Hey listen, you cannot go forward holding onto all of the baggage and stuff from your past. Good, bad, or otherwise it just won’t work. You have to let it all go so you can be free to embrace other things, new things. God did not make you to hold onto a lot of stuff. He intends for you to learn from them and grow. Remember the illustration about the closed fist. If you do not open your hand you cannot receive anything else. Now picture the hand in the cookie jar. You have in your hand what you want but now your hand is stuck in the cookie jar. Certain things in life many seek after only to find when they have it that they are stuck. Let God show you how to obtain those same things and not get stuck. Allow Him to open new things up to you so you can move forward and be successful. Some things you just have to let go of so God can bless you with more better things. Trust that He has only the best in mind for you and wants you to succeed. So on today, look to your future without looking back and know that what is ahead is well worth letting go of your past.
