When was the last time you just sat and let the Lord speak to your heart? Admittedly, it’s hard in today’s hustle and bustle, hurry up and do society. Many have forgotten how to slow down, take in the scenery, stop to smell the roses, and have a cup of coffee. Many are way too stressed about this and that, and that and the other until they just don’t make time for God. However, the best thing anyone could do is actually make and spend time with the Father. It is time well spent and when you leave His presence you are refreshed, revived, and rejuvenated, ready to take on anything. In His presence there is fullness of joy. In His presence there is peace galore. In His presence there is love evermore. Who wouldn’t want to spend time with Him? Well, the world has many conditioned to always be on the go, don’t slow down, and definitely don’t stop for anything. Wrong! Stop and bask in God’s goodness, His mercy, and grace. Stop and give Him praise; stop and converse with Him; just stop and hear Him; let Him speak into your heart. So on today, whatever you need and/or want can be found in God; therefore, take time to spend with Him and receive of His blessings for you.
