Praise be to God. If you stand on and stand by the Word of God, trust that it will come to pass and benefit you. God did not give you just a bunch of rules of do’s and don’ts; no, it is much more precious than that. What He gives in and through His Word is a way of life, which when embraced will yield both earthly, temporal blessings as well as heavenly eternal ones. But the thing is, you must live by, according to, His Word. You cannot pick and choose but you have to take the whole roll. Get an understanding of His Word and you will see that He promises life, and that more abundantly. God is not some tyrannical dictator, but rather a loving Father. He does not “have it in for you” but wants you to enjoy His gift of life. His Word is sure and will see you through any and all trials and tribulations. His Word fits today as much as it did 1000 years ago. It is hard to comprehend that because of the changing times, but God sees all of eternity at once. Therefore, He gave His Word that would fit any era. There may be some specifics for a particular time but trust even from those can be gleaned something for today. Your part in this all really is to just blindly trust and follow after God, which includes acceptance of His whole Word. So on today, God’s omniscience puts Him in a class all by Himself; so why not trust and follow the smartest One in the class and be blessed?
