Did you know that an uninterrupted day of walking offers a different sort of rightsizing? One day it could be the perfect span of time to focus in prayer or meditation on the good of another. On one of our walking days, my focus may be personal: my mental health and overall emotional and spiritual wholeness that can spill over to my children and their children's children; another day, it may be global: the people of the world suffering from poverty and conflict. This focus creates a sense of love and compassion for the objects of each of my intentions, and I finish each walking experience with a concrete resolution to act accordingly.
