Hearing safety is important for everyone’s health. Regular exposure to high decibel noise can contribute to early and permanent hearing loss.
For some professions and activities, it’s important to protect hearing while at the same time not restricting environmental and ambient sounds for safety.
Until now, earphones and buds that provide decibel protection often sacrifice environmental safety, and vice versa. But a revolutionary new technology is changing that, with a wearable device that filters damaging sound waves while permitting directional sound from the outside.
We’ll demonstrate this new device live and talk to Rob Roy, a professional producer, sound engineer about how it can benefit those working in professions including construction, manufacturing, in warehouses and at airports, as well as those engaged in activities such as hunting and attending concerts.
