Sunday May 4th 2003 around 4am 911 gets a strange call about a fire at Western Kentucky University. Bowling Green Department arrives on scene to the dorm rooms. Students all piled out ont he lawn and parking lot, all sleepy and irritated. This was not the first time the fire alarm has gone off in the middle of the night. It was also bogus, someone burnt popcorn, a prankster pulling the alarm or just simply the RA's doing a random fire alarm drill. This wasn't the case this time and students would soon learn the horrific truth and just how real this fire was. locked inside room 214 there was thick smoke barreling out from under the door. Fire Fighters enter fire is out and there is someone on the bed....still alive and breathing. they learn quickly this is a crime scene.
