New Years eve 1980 when 20 year old Karen Poltack who was a student at Steven’s point University near Minneapolis. Was headed out with her sister and friends to ring the New Year. They were dancing and laughing, drinking champagne. Just after midnight Karen wondered out of the bar drunk and without a coat, not telling anyone she was leaving. She stumbles into a dark Alley when a car with a man in it rolls down is window and asked if he could give her a ride, temps were below freezing and he saw no jacket. He tells her I have heat in here its nice and toasty I can take you to where you need. She agrees and then she disappears, 3 hours later a call come into 911 with a very weepy man on the other end saying he just stabbed someone. Sit tight and drink for this one. Its brutal and very sad.
