Today we turn back the clock 66 years to No One Will Ever Know from ABC’s Mystery Time. Only 17 episodes of the show were produced and sadly only 13 remain. Several of these 13 episodes are fantastic though, and that is no doubt due to the hosting of Don Dowd, writing of Leonard St. Clair. Sir Laurence Olivier is also cited as a star but I do not believe he is the star of this episode.
We will join a man, Lucky Sam who has never lost in his life. Every bet, every business deal, no matter how bad, Sam was always lucky. The thing is… Sam has hired bodyguards because someone is out to kill him! There is only one problem, no one believes him. They all think he is losing it and just needs to see a doctor. But why would a man who was sane yesterday think there is someone out to kill him? He’s hired them to shoot to kill!
So sit back, relax, and turn back the clock 66 years to an unfortunately unknown broadcast date in 1956, and No One Will Ever Know
