"I used to think that when you’re running empty, you’ll feel lighter. I thought the weight you add on would weigh you down. You feel like you’re able to run faster, stronger, longer… and I did. At that level, I was able to sprint one of my best runs. But just like in life, when we take the shortcut to success or try to cut corners with building anything sustainable… you crash. The high will come down and you WILL experience the hardships of what you were trying to pursue temporarily.
