Akbar Mohammadi died in Evin Prison on July 30, 2006, after years of grueling torture. He was the leader of the student movement uprising in Iran, protesting for freedom and human rights.
His sister published his Prison diary in a book entitled, "Ideas and lashes," detailing the painful tortured He endured.
