President Trump's recent visit to Saudi Arabia will hopefully not only be about economics but also about women's rights. The women of Saudi Arabia have been under the oppression of the Male Guardianship Law for decades and although the Crown Prince has made several reforms, women are still not free. The reforms have been cosmetic for economic reasons and image building. As long as Wahabbi Islam is still the official religion in Saudi Arabia, women will never truly be free.
