Hans and Sophie Scholl fought against Hitler's evil Third Reich using words instead of weapons. The White Rose Resistance printed thousands of leaflets and distributed them in universities calling on the German people to join them in opposing Hitler.
Their bravery came with a high price. They were arrested and executed by guillotine in February 1943.
