So many of us are looking for things in life - meaning, purpose, security, peace, confidence, closure, hope, love...and we look for those things in all kinds of places. Most of our lives, we are looking for answers to these existential questions. What we find in the Easter story is a slight twist on this human conundrum. At the empty tomb, there are more questions than answers; there's more wonder and mystery than there is certainty. In the midst of these questions, there is a moment of clarity delivered from the angels, "You are looking for Jesus..." (Matthew 28). All of our questions, all of our searching, is realized in the person of Jesus. The Risen Lord is full of grace and truth but his Resurrection stirs questions and wonder that open the door of infinite potential and possibility. This week, Pastor Steve explores the Easter story and how it intersects with our own lives.
