Raised with a pagan father, drowning in hedonism, employing prostitutes, proposing marriage to an 11yr old girl, making a profession of faith after his cult is declared illegal and punishable by death... Too many red flags, but he is the foundation for Calvinism and many of the "Reformed" doctrines. Most of his heresies were thrown out, but a few have remained and seem to be considered foundational by many denominations, should he consider any of his work?
