With a passion for organization and empowering women, JaShelle Henry's goal is to establish herself as a leader and mentor in the planning community. In May of 2019, alongside her husband/Co-Owner Alex Colson, she launched a luxury planning and stationary company designed specifically for women of color called The Black Queen Planner. A native of the US Virgin Islands, she wanted to empower women of color to pursue their dreams by implementing habits and tools dedicated to their success. Her passion and purpose are deeply tied to many failed business attempts than rarely left the dream phase. She believed that there must be a key to succesful execution for starting and completing a goal - she later realized that intentional planning is a core ingredient for success. JaShelle wanted to provide a system that offered inspiration for black and brown women to see their vision through, while connecting with each other. Her mission is to motivate women of color, Black Queens she believes we should be called, to vibrate above the fears that keep them from their purpose.
