In 2011, her husband was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and was told he'd be disabled in 5 years which triggered the motivation to be financially free through multifamily investing. Both her husband and their properties beat expectations over the next few years - him making a full recovery and the properties generating both equity and cash flow.
Over the last 6 years, they've taken 50+ units multifamily from negative cash flow to high positive cash flow. She is a proponent of the "Flip, flip, BRRRR" strategy for apartments that allows anyone to scale their rental properties to generate 100K in 4-6 years. She runs a multifamily coaching program and just closed on a 67 unit hotel to multifamily conversion project.
