Is it possible to live your entire life without feeling resent?

Of course not.

Resent is an organic human emotion that lives inside of all of us. The key is to become aware of it, and not let it grow into an uncontrollable monster that overrides our focus.

If we aren't aware of the small snowballs of resent that are building up inside of us… Some of us get to a point in our life where we develop this sort of ‘arch nemesis’.

Your ex-husband… your ex-wife… your sister… your brother… an old friend… a business partner… your boss… your employee…

“Fuck that bastard”… “They’re a piece of shit”… “I hate them”... “The world would be better off without them”...

Those are some intense phrases…

When you think, feel and say these kinds of things and you forget to catch yourself… That snowball keeps tumbling down the inside of your blood vessels and it blocks off blood flow to your heart ❤️

Instead of growing a habit of resent for others… What if you developed a habit of forgiveness? What if you focused on the gratitude and grace for the opportunity you have been given to learn?

Your heart doesn’t grow stronger from resenting others, it loses blood flow...

Your heart will grow stronger if you focus on YOU, and what YOU can do better each and every day.

You can only influence others, you will never be able to ‘change’ them.

The only person you can change, is YOU.
